Description
A complex and structured Haut-Médoc red wine
The estate
Château Citran is one of the oldest estates in the Médoc region. In 1996, the Merlaut family took over the running of this estate, renowned for its elegant Haut-Médoc wines.
The vineyard
Château Citran’s vineyard spreads across almost 96 hectares. The vines are 35 years old on average and are planted on a tapestry of gravelly-sandy soils composed of asteriated limestone and clay-limestone soils.

Cabernet Sauvignon (48%)
Merlot (47%)
Cabernet Franc (5%).
