Garrus 2016 from Chateau d'Esclans: a high-quality Côtes de Provence
Garrus from Chateau d'Esclans is a rose produced in the Côtes de Provence appellation. The grapes are selected from the best parcels of the property, where Grenache and Rolle are the planted grape varieties. Harvest took place from sunrise to noon. The grapes were then sorted optically. Garrus 2016 from Chateau d'Esclans is not macerated. It is fermented in demi-muid (600 L barrels), both new and old, for 10 months with stirring twice a week (batonnage). Each container has an individual temperature control.
