Description
A lively and delicate white Sauternes
Produced in the Sauternes appellation across 84 hectares, Château de Rayne Vigneau is a white wine classified 1er Grand Cru Classé in 1855, crafted from a blend of 80% Sémillon and 20% Sauvignon Blanc.
Château de Rayne Vigneau 2002 displays a beautiful straw-yellow colour. The nose reveals magnificent floral aromas of great purity, heralding an ethereal wine of great freshness that blends delicately with notes of quince paste. The palate is lively yet delicate and well balanced. A wine of rare elegance.
