A fruity and balanced Côtes du Rhône rosé wine
The estate
Domaine de la Mordorée was created in 1986 by Francis Delorme and his son. Located in Tavel, near Avignon, this estate of 60 hectares spread over 38 plots is the perfect expression of appellations such as Tavel, Lirac, Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Côtes-du-Rhône, or Condrieu.
The vineyard
2022 is a Côtes du Rhône wine from a vineyard that is certified Organic Agriculture and Demeter Biodynamics. The vines are cultivated on very diverse soils: sandy or sandy-clay, with limestone gravel.
Winemaking and ageing
Vendanges manuelles. Éraflage et foulage, rosé de saignée, quelques heures de macération. Harvest done by hand. Destemming and crushing, saignée method, a few hours of maceration.
Blend
This Côtes du Rhône Rosé 2022 from Domaine de la Mordorée is a blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Syrah, Mourvèdre and Carignan.
