The Estate
Founded in 2005, the Champagne Barons de Rothschild House is a creation of family and heart, resulting from the unprecedented alliance between the three branches (Château Mouton Rothschild, Château Clarke, Château Lafite Rothschild), aiming to magnify the majestic Champagne terroir that embodies beyond borders the quality and art of living. “Accomplish through great achievements” has been the ambition for over 250 years of the Rothschild family, which, drawing on its winegrowing experience in Bordeaux, crafts excellent champagnes at the crossroads of expertise and tradition.
Carrying values of excellence, taste, and conviviality, the Champagne Barons de Rothschild House, whose headquarters have been located in Reims since 2007 near illustrious Champagne estates, unveils cuvées with a distinctive style that harmoniously blends finesse, balance, and purity.
The Vineyard
The cuvées of the Barons de Rothschild House are made from grapes sourced from exceptional Champagne terroirs, notably the Grands Crus and Premiers Crus of the Côte des Blancs and the Montagne de Reims.
Vinification and Aging
The Blanc de Blancs from the Champagne Barons de Rothschild House is crafted using exclusively the cuvée (first pressing). Alcoholic fermentation is carried out in small thermoregulated stainless steel tanks of 25 to 60 HL. Malolactic fermentation. The long aging on fine lees lasts 6 to 7 months. The dosage is low (6 g/l). The aging on lees lasts a minimum of 3 years and 6 months. The resting time after disgorgement is at least 6 months.
Blending
The blending of this Blanc de Blancs from the Champagne Barons de Rothschild House is 100% Chardonnay sourced exclusively from the Grands and Premiers Crus of the Côte des Blancs, mainly Avize, Mesnil-sur-Oger, and Oger. The reserve wines completing the blend up to 40% are a guarantee of great quality and significant aging potential.

Appearance
The appearance is adorned with crystalline reflections. The effervescence is fine and delicate.
Nose
Intense, the nose combines exotic aromas, citrus, and dried fruits. As it aerates, the nose reveals brioche, pastry, buttery, and toasted almond notes.
Palate
With a crisp and lemony attack, the palate charms with its length and precision. Subtle notes of roasting and spices reveal a warm character enhanced at the finish by a delicate salinity.
Food and Wine Pairings
This Blanc de Blancs from the Champagne Barons de Rothschild House is ideal as an aperitif or with some seafood. A slightly lemony lobster or grilled sea bass with dill will enhance the salinity and minerality of this cuvée, which can also pair with a lemon tart.
