The estate
A family-run estate for five generations, J.L. Vergnon showcases through its cuvées a delightful blend of tradition, passion for terroir, and the authentic expression of a flagship Champagne grape variety, Chardonnay.
The vineyard
The vineyard of the Champagne J.L. Vergnon estate is made up of Grands Crus from the Côte des Blancs as well as Premiers Crus from the villages of Vertus and Villeneuve. The estate tends to around twenty plots, cultivated using sustainable practices and certified HVE 3.
The wine
The Murmure 1er cru Blanc de Blancs Brut Nature cuvée from J.L. Vergnon is sourced from parcels located in the villages of Vertus and Villeneuve.
Vinification and aging
This champagne is vinified in stainless steel vats. The wine is aged in the estate’s cellars for 2 years before disgorgement.
