Aromas of white-fleshed fruits such as pear and peach further enrich the profile. The nose also unveils a characteristic chalky minerality, enhanced by nuances of brioche and toasted almond.
Palate
The attack is lively and precise, revealing a creamy texture supported by a beautiful tension. The palate expresses flavors of fresh fruit and lemon zest, carried by a distinctive saline minerality. The finish lingers at length with a persistent freshness.

A Côte des Blancs champagne combining mineral purity and concentration
The estate
Founded in 1776 in Reims, Maison Louis Roederer has remained a family-owned and independent house for nearly two and a half centuries. Now led by Frédéric Rouzaud, representing the seventh generation of the lineage, the estate owns approximately 250 hectares of vineyards spread across 420 plots. This independence and mastery of the vineyard allow Louis Roederer to craft exceptional champagnes that express the uniqueness of each terroir.
The vineyard
This Blanc de Blancs comes exclusively from plots located on the Côte des Blancs, an exceptional terroir in Champagne renowned for its chalky soils. This winegrowing region provides Chardonnay with ideal conditions to develop aromatic finesse and characteristic minerality.
The vintage
The 2019 vintage in Champagne benefited from favorable climatic conditions. A mild spring preceded a sunny summer, punctuated by welcome rainfall that allowed optimal ripening of the grapes.
Winemaking and aging
The Blanc de Blancs 2019 was partially vinified in large oak casks, lending the champagne a subtle structure without masking its mineral purity. Extended aging on the lees allowed the wine to develop its aromatic complexity and creamy texture before its release to market.
