The estate
The story of the Champagne Taittinger House began at the start of the 20th century. Led by Pierre-Emmanuel Taittinger and his two children, Clovis and Vitalie, the Taittinger House has maintained a family spirit by producing champagnes resolutely oriented towards a chardonnay style. Since January 1, 2020, Vitalie Taittinger has been President of the Champagne Taittinger House.
The vineyard
The vineyard extends over 288 hectares of vines and includes 37 different Champagne crus. Taittinger is thus the third largest vineyard in the region. The entire vineyard is certified with High Environmental Value.
The wine
This Nocturne cuvée is made from a selection of around thirty different crus from several harvests. Aged at least 4 years on laths before being disgorged, this champagne dosed at 17.5g/l combines roundness and smoothness.
Blend
Pinot noir (60%) and chardonnay (40%).
