Description
A fruity and refined rosé wine from Provence
The estate
Located in the heart of Cap Bénat, Château Léoube cultivates its vines, orchards and olive trees on one of the most beautiful protected sites in Europe. Certified ECOCERT since 2011 (with the Organic Farming label) Château Léoube is carrying out an agro-environmental approach.
The Château Léoube estate covers 560 hectares, 65 of which are vineyards, in a natural cove that protects the vines from the Mistral wind. This Var terroir, which has belonged to an English family for the past ten years, is managed using certified organic farming methods, with the utmost respect for the environment. The proximity to the ocean, the schist and clay soils and the cool nights are ideal conditions for the development of the vines and the production of high-quality wines.
The vineyard
Château Léoube's La Londe 2021 is a Côtes de Provence wine that stems from a rigorous selection of old vines from the La Londe terroir.
Winemaking and ageing
Hand-picked and sorted in the vineyard. Light crushing of whole bunches followed by slow pressing. Static cold settling. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in stainless steel vats.
