Grands-Echezeaux

The Grands Echezeaux vineyard borders the Clos Vougeot Grand Cru vineyard, facing East-South-East, on a calcareous soil. This Grand Cru wine is fermented in vats for 3-4 weeks and then aged 18-20 months in oak barrels before bottling. With a deep colour, it produces a powerful wine with intense red fruits and spicey aromas. It is a structured wine with a very nice balance.
