The château Peyrabonvineyard presents 45 hectares in the Haut-Médoc appellation. The 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc and 2% Petit Verdot represent the grape varietal percentage of the blend. These late harvested varietals took advantage of this late and long lasting autumn. Those conditions give a feeling of freshness, fineness and smoothness to the palate. In the nose, Peyrabon 2014 shows great aromas of black fruits. The elegant and soft tannins give a dynamic first impression on the mouth. This is a fresh and well made wine!

Wine Advocate-Parker : The 2014 Peyrabon has a ripe blueberry and creme de cassis-scented bouquet that has a touch of volatility. The palate is sweet and lush on the entry with plenty of black cherry and blueberry fruit, belying what feels like a firm structure underneath and renders the finish drier and more classic than expected. There is a lot going on here and I suspect it will age with style. Tasted September 2016.
