Morey-Saint-Denis

Located between Gevrey Chambertin to the North and Chambolle Musigny to the South, in the center of the Côte de Nuits, Morey Saint Denis is a vineyard at an altitude between 250 and 360 meters and bordering the village of Morey. There are 4 Grands Crus and 17 Premiers Crus on this small commune. The vineyard is surrounding the village of Morey, on a slope, facing east. The soil is mainly made of calcareous clay. We recognize this AOC because it is characteristically a very elegant wine developing aromas of red fruits and spices. It is a structured and full wine, with distinctive and smooth tannins.
