Inglenook is a winery founded in 1879 by a Finnish captain, Gustave Niebaum. This estate, located in the Rutherford AVA, was swiftly recognized for the quality of its wines, which authentically reflect the finesse and elegance of the finest Napa Valley terroirs.

Francis and Eleanor Coppola gradually acquired the estate in 1975 and carried out major renovation work. With the ambition of elevating these wines and placing them among the finest Californian references, the couple hired two illustrious viticultural figures, André Tchelistcheff and Philippe Bascaules of Château Margaux.

The estate’s 95 hectares have been farmed organically since 1991, and their uniqueness lies in the mosaic of terroirs that provide these critically-acclaimed Inglenook wines with a delicate, aromatically rich and balanced expression.
