Screaming Eagle Wines : Key Points

In 2006 Screaming Eagle was acquired by the American billionaire, Stan Kroenke, who also owns the Californian estates Jonata and The Hilt and has an 80% stake in the Burgundian estate, Bonneau du Martray.

Screaming Eagle watches over a terroir of around 20 hectares, spread over a mosaic of plots with different exposures to the sun and with soils made up of gravel and clayey loam. The grape varieties are Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Sauvignon Blanc.

Produced in very limited quantities, Screaming Eagle has been recognised by the greatest international wine critics for its extreme finesse since the release of its first vintage in 1992. Its second wine, Screaming Eagle Second Flight, has been produced since 2012.
