The estate
A pioneer, Dr. Osea Perrone acquired land in the Dry Creek Valley area in 1885 and planted vines on this clay-limestone terroir. The first vintage was produced in 1892.
Purchased in 1959 and renamed in 1962 “Ridge Vineyards”, the estate expanded its vineyard holdings and enlisted California winemaker Paul Draper to make the property an icon among the greatest Californian wines.
Ridge Vineyards oversees an exceptional vineyard farmed organically, renowned for the quality of its non-interventionist winemaking and for showcasing the purest expression of fruit.
