The estate
A family estate for five generations, the J.L. Vergnon Champagne House exalts, through its cuvées, a wonderful alchemy of tradition, passion for the terroir and authentic expression for the flagship grape variety of Champagne: Chardonnay.
The vineyard
The J.L. Vergnon vineyard is made up of Grand Crus of the Côte des Blancs and Premier Crus of the villages of Vertus and Villeneuve in Champagne. The estate oversees a vineyard of around 20 plots, run in a sustainable manner and certified HVE (Haute Valeur Environnementale – High Environmental Value) 3.
The wine
O.G Grand cru Blanc de Blancs from J.L. Vergnon is a Brut Nature champagne that stems from the "Chemin de Flavigny" plot, on the Oge terroir.
Winemaking and ageing
Vinification in stainless steel vats. Ageing for 5 years in the cellar before disgorgement. No dosage.

Tasting
Colour
The colour is of a lemon yellow, enhanced by fine bubbles.
Nose
The nose releases scents of pastries and orange zest, then becomes more complex with notes of wheat, white fruits, toast and coffee.
Palate
Fresh and rounded, the palate has a lovely substance and notes of biscuits and almonds linger into a long finish.
To serve
For the best tasting, serve between 9 and 10°C.
